Open Toolbox in MetaTrader 5

Access your MT5 trading history panel.

Open MetaTrader 5 on your desktop computer.
From the top menu select:
View → Toolbox
Shortcut:
CTRL + T

Open the History Tab

Navigate to your completed trade history.

In the Toolbox panel at the bottom of MT5, open the:
History
tab.
You should now see your completed trading transactions and account history.

Select the History Period

Choose how much trading history you want to export.

Right-click on any trade transaction inside the History tab.
Select one of the available history ranges:
All History
Last 3 Months
Last Month
Custom Period
Tradevation imports whatever history MT5 exports. For full account migration, select:
All History

Export the HTML Report

Save your MT5 history report as HTML.

Right-click again on any transaction inside the History tab.
Hover over:
Reports
Select:
HTML (Internet Explorer)
Save the generated HTML report file on your computer.

Upload to Tradevation

Import your MT5 trading history into your journal.

Return to the MT5 Import page inside Tradevation.
Upload the exported HTML report file.
Review detected trades, balances and account information before importing.

Important Notes

  • • Only MetaTrader 5 HTML reports are supported.
  • • Screenshots, PDFs or copied text files cannot be imported.
  • • Ensure you export the correct history period before generating the report.
  • • For full account migration, use the "All History" option inside MT5.
